Removal and Installation
WARNING: Do not smoke, carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related component. Highly
flammable mixtures are always present and can be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
1. Remove the fuel tank.
2. Disconnect the fuel and vapor tubes from the fuel pump module.
3. Using the special tool, remove the fuel pump lock ring.
