Power Seat Control Module: Testing and Inspection
Press the self-test switch to enter the self-test mode. The LED will flash five times. Within 5-10 seconds, press the regulator control switch forward,
backward and then forward. This will initiate the box cycle test. The box cycle test will move the seat fully forward, up, backward and then down.
Failure to press the regulator control switch in the direction specified within 5-10 seconds after pressing the self-test switch will cause the LED to flash
two times. If this occurs, you must restart test. If the box cycle test is not achieved, return to the Pinpoint Test G. See: Testing and Inspection/Pinpoint
Tests/Test G: Memory Seat Does Not Operate Properly
If the box cycle test is achieved, system is OK.
