Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair
With Automatic Transmission
REMOVAL:
Disconnecting Brake Master Cylinder Pushrod

Disconnect the brake master cylinder pushrod.
1. Disconnect the Brake On/Off (BOO) switch electrical connector.
2. Remove the hairpin clip.
3. Separate the BOO switch and the brake master cylinder pushrod from the brake pedal support.
NOTE: When removing the BOO switch retain the spacers and hairpin clip, they will be required for installation.

Remove the bolts.
CAUTION: Support the brake master cylinder and power brake booster in the engine compartment.
