Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair
REMOVAL:
Disconnecting Battery Ground Cable

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Disconnect the two HCU electrical connectors.
Disconnecting Hydraulic Brake Tubes
-
Disconnect the (A) two inlet and (B) three outlet hydraulic brake tubes.
NOTE: Plug each port to prevent brake fluid from spilling.
Removing The HCU
-
Remove the Hydraulic Control Unit.
1. Remove the (A) HCU bolts and the (B) HCU nut.
2. Remove the HCU.
