Explorer 2WD V6-245 4.0L SOHC VIN E EFI (1997)
2. Install the four crankshaft pulley bolts.
3. Tighten the crankshaft pulley bolt in two stages.

Stage 1: 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).

Stage 2: Rotate 80°-90°.
CAUTION: The pulley bolt cannot be reused. The bolt must be replaced.
4. Install the accessory drive belt.
1. Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise.
2. Position the belt.
5. Install the fan blade assembly and the fan shroud.
