Note:
Installation of the new oil pump drive will require two (2) people. Install new oil pump drive as follows:
^
Place oil pump drive in the engine. The oil pump drive will only install to the point where its gear meets the jackshaft mating gear.

Apply light downward pressure on the oil pump drive. Have an assistant turn the crankshaft slowly clockwise.

When the oil pump drive gear meshes with the jackshaft mating gear, the oil pump drive will completely install.
^
Install oil pump drive retaining clamp. Tighten clamp bolt to 17-21 Nm (13-15 lb/ft).

Lift up on main engine wiring harness, then install PCV oil separator box. Install separator box retaining spring as shown in Figure 7.

Install PCV hose on oil separator box.

Remove tape from cylinder head, then clean cylinder head gasket surface.

Wipe mating surface on lower intake manifold

Note:
This procedure and the corresponding labor standard, reflects this new style plastic intake manifold. Cleaning procedures normally used on
metal or alloy components do not apply to this type of intake manifold.
Install lower intake manifold. Tighten bolts to 12-14 Nm (9-10 lb/ft).

Wipe gasket mating surfaces on lower intake manifold and upper intake manifold.

Caution:
Do not over torque retaining screws. NOTE: Do not slide upper intake manifold across lower intake manifold during installation as damage to
the gaskets can occur.
Install upper intake manifold. Tighten upper intake manifold screws to 6-7 Nm (53-62 lb/in).
