Explorer 2WD V6-245 4.0L SOHC VIN E EFI (1997)
1. Position the water pump and install the two stud bolts.
NOTE: Use Metal Surface Cleaner F4AZ-19A536-RA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSE-MSB392-A and a suitable plastic or
wooden scraper to clean the sealing surfaces.
2. Connect the water bypass hose and position the clamp.
3. Install the ten water pump bolts.
4. Position the water pump pulley and install the four water pump pulley bolts.
