Disconnect the electrical connector from the vapor management valve. See Figure 1.
9.
Disconnect the fuel vapor lines from the vapor management valve.
10.
Remove the vapor management valve bracket mounting bolts.
11.
Remove the vapor management valve and bracket as an assembly. See Figure 2.
12.
Remove the vapor management valve retaining nuts, then separate the valve from its bracket.
Installation
Refer to the illustrations in the removal procedure when performing vapor management valve installation.
1.
Position new vapor management valve on mounting bracket, then install retaining nuts.
2.
Position vapor management valve and bracket assembly in the vehicle, then install bracket mounting bolts.
3.
Connect the fuel vapor lines to the vapor management valve.
4.
Connect the vapor management valve electrical connector.
5.
Position the battery tray in the vehicle, then install battery tray mounting bolts.
6.
Connect the EVAP vent hose to the battery tray.
7.
Position battery in battery tray and install battery hold-down.
8.
Install battery cover.
9.
Connect battery cables.
10.
Remove memory saver.
