The key-in-ignition warning chime will stop sounding when:
^
Driver's door is closed.
^
Key is removed form the ignition.
^
Ignition switch is turned to the RUN position.
Battery Saver
NOTE: The exterior lamps are not part of the battery saver protection, and will remain ON even if the CTM turns OFF the interior lamps.
The battery saver feature removes extended interior lamp power drains from the battery. The Central Timer Module (CTM) will keep power available
for all interior light and hood lamp circuits for 40 minutes after ignition switch is turned OFF. The battery saver timer is reset by lifting a drivers door
handle, activating a door ajar switch, changing the ignition to RUN or ACC position. If asleep, the CTM will wake-up when:
^
Any door becomes ajar or is closed.
^
The Key is inserted or removed.
^
The ignition switch is turned form ACC or RUN.
^
Driver's door handle switch is activated.
Courtesy Lamps
The Central Timer Module (CTM) illuminates the interior courtesy lamps when any door is open or ajar. All interior courtesy lamps are turned OFF
when any of the following occurs:
^
25 seconds have elapsed after all the doors are closed.
^
The ignition switch is turned to RUN.
Panel Dimmer Switch
The panel dimmer switch controls the interior lamps by supplying power to the interior lights. The battery saver relay supplies power to the panel
dimmer switch. When the battery saver function is active, power will not be supplies to the dimmer switch circuit and the panel dimmer switch will not
turn ON the interior lights.
Illuminated Entry
The illuminated entry option is another feature which activates the interior lamps. The feature works as follows:

The CTM illuminates the interior lamps when the drivers door handle is lifted.
The illuminated entry feature will be canceled when any of the following conditions are met:
^
25 seconds have elapsed since the illuminated entry feature was not activated and the interior lamp control is not activated.
^
The ignition is in the RUN or START position and the interior lamp control is not activated.
