Explorer 2WD V6-245 4.0L SOHC VIN E EFI (1997)
Install the new safety belt(s) using the appropriate instructions. Perform Functional Test Procedure in Testing and Inspection.
B-Pillar
REMOVAL
1. Remove the safety belt guide bolt.

Remove the bolt cover.

Use Safety Belt Bolt Bit to remove the bolt.
2. Lift the floor carpet and use T55 "TORX" Bit to remove the floor anchor bolt.
3. Remove the B-pillar trim panel.
4. Remove the front safety belt retractor.

Use Safety Belt Bolt Bit to remove the bolts.

Remove the front safety belt retractor.
