Wiper Arm: Service and Repair
Mounting Arm and Pivot Shaft
REMOVAL
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
NOTE: The windshield wiper mounting arms and pivot shafts are serviced as an assembly.
2. Turn the windshield wipers on, then back to the OFF position before cycle is finished to ensure wipers are in the PARK position.
3. Remove the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft.
1. Pull up on the latch.
2. Remove the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Raise windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft and windshield wiper blade assembly to specified dimension above cowl top outer
panel. Refer to the General Specifications.
