Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair

Removal 

1. Remove the crankshaft damper. 

2. Remove the crankshaft front seal.

Installation 

1. Install the crankshaft front seal.

Lubricate the seal lip with clean engine oil.

-

Using the vibration damper and seal replaces and the front cover seal replacer, install the crankshaft front seal.

2. Install the crankshaft damper.
