Clutch Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Special Tools
Removal
1. CAUTION: Brake fluid is harmful to painted and plastic surfaces. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, wash it
immediately with water.
NOTE: When replacing the clutch master cylinder, remove the tubing from the vehicle for the bench bleeding procedure.
Disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod from the clutch pedal pin.
2. Remove the Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch.
3. Remove the clutch cylinder reservoir.

Remove the bolts.

Remove the clutch cylinder reservoir
4. Raise and support the vehicle.
5. Disconnect the clutch hydraulic line from the slave cylinder using (A) Clutch Coupling Tool.
6. Lower the vehicle.
