Installation

1. NOTE: Make sure the extension housing seal is correctly installed onto the Transmission Extension Housing Oil Seal Installer and the garter

spring is in the correct position.

Using the Transmission Extension Housing Oil Seal Installer, install the extension housing seal.

2. Install the driveshaft.

3. Carry out the transmission fluid level check. For additional information, refer to Transmission Fluid Level Check  See: Service and

Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
