6. Partially remove the front door weatherstrip.
7. Remove the lower cowl trim panel.

Remove the pushpin.

Remove the lower cowl trim panel.
8. Remove the hood release mechanism.

Remove the screw.

Position aside the hood release mechanism.
9. Disconnect the ground wire.
