Explorer 2WD V6-4.0L VIN K Flex Fuel (2002)
1. Install the recliner assembly and install the two new roll pins.
2. Align and attach the seat upholstery hook and loop fasteners to the seat cushion hook and loop fasteners.
3. Install the seat cushion on the seat frame.
4. Install the front seat.
5. Repower the SRS.
Rear Seat Cushion - 40/20/40 Bench, Second Row
REAR SEAT CUSHION - 40/20/40 BENCH, SECOND ROW
Disassembly and Assembly
NOTE: 40 percent seat shown, 20 percent seat is similar.
1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion from the frame.
3. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat cushion covering from the hook and loop fasteners to avoid tearing the fastener off of the
seat foam.
Separate the seat cushion hook and loop fasteners. Remove the upholstery from the foam cushion.
4. Remove the bench leg bolts.
