7. Position the LH C-pillar trim panel.
1. With the hook aligned to the sheet metal, position the top of the C-pillar trim panel to the sheet metal.
2. Align and slide down, engaging the front upper trim panel retainer.
3. Align and push in, engaging the front lower trim panel retainer.
8. Push in on the C-pillar trim panel, seating the retainers.
Vehicles with side air curtains
9. WARNING: Any time the side air curtain has deployed, the headliner, and all A, B and C pillar upper trim panels and attaching
hardware must be replaced along with any other damaged components and hardware. Failure to do so may result in personal injury in
the event of a side air curtain deployment.
NOTE:

There are two different C-pillar trim panels. Those built for vehicles with side air curtain modules and those built for vehicles with safety
canopy modules. If replacing a side air curtain module on a vehicle built up to 03/2002 with a safety canopy module, a C-pillar trim panel that
is safety canopy module compatible must be used.

Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
Install the LH side C-pillar trim panel.

Position the trim panel, sliding the upper retainer into the sheet metal opening.
