Explorer 2WD V8-4.6L VIN 8 (2006)
2. Detach the wiring harness retainer from the coolant expansion tank.
All vehicles
3. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air cleaner outlet pipe from the air cleaner.
4. Unclip and remove the air cleaner cover.
5. Remove the air cleaner element.
6. NOTE: Clean the inside of the air cleaner tray.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
