CAUTION: Do not use cleaners with a petroleum base and do not immerse the clutch pressure plate in solvent.
11. Inspect the clutch pressure plate surface for:

Burn marks.
-
Scores.
-
Flatness.
-
Ridges.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the (A) transmission input shaft pilot bearing using (B) Pilot Bearing Replacer.
NOTE: The transmission input shaft pilot bearing can only be installed with the seal facing the transmission. The transmission input shaft pilot
bearing is pregreased and does not require additional lubrication. A new transmission input shaft pilot bearing must be installed whenever it is
removed.
2. Position the flywheel onto the crankshaft and install the flywheel-to-crankshaft bolts.

Apply Threadlock and Sealer or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSK-M2G315-A5 to bolt threads.
3. Install the disc and pressure plate.
