Parking Brake Control: Service and Repair
Removal
1. NOTE: Make sure the parking brake control is fully released.
Relieve the tension on the parking brake system.

Pull down on the parking brake intermediate cable.

Insert a 4 mm (5/32 inch) drill bit or equivalent retainer in the parking brake control.
2. Remove the LH front fender apron.
3. Remove the front parking brake cable and conduit from the retainer clip.

Remove the front parking brake cable and conduit retainer clip bolt.

Remove the front parking brake cable and conduit retainer clip.
