2. NOTE: Mark each camshaft roller follower to ensure its original position during reassembly.
Remove the camshaft roller followers.

Use Valve Spring Compressor to compress the valve spring.

Remove the camshaft roller followers.
3. Remove the hydraulic chain tensioner.

Gain access to the chain tensioner through the fender well.
4. CAUTION: The right-hand camshaft sprocket bolt is a left-hand threaded bolt.
Use Cam Gear Torque Adapter Tool to remove the camshaft sprocket bolt.
5. NOTE: Mark the position of the camshaft bearing caps so they can be installed in the original position.
