Transmission Cooler: Service and Repair
Auxiliary
1. Remove the radiator air deflector.

Remove the bolts.

Remove the radiator air deflector.
2. Place a drain pan under the transmission auxiliary fluid cooler.
3. NOTE: On 5.0L, the radiator must be loosened to provide access for removing the upper transmission fluid cooler screw.
Loosen the two upper radiator hold down screws.
4. Remove the transmission auxiliary fluid cooler.

Disconnect the hoses.

Remove the bolts. Remove the transmission auxiliary fluid cooler.
