10. Remove the front door tread plate.
11. Partially remove the weatherstrip.

12. Remove the lower cowl trim panel.

Remove the pushpin.

Remove the lower cowl trim panel.

13. Disconnect the ground wires.

All vehicles

14. Position aside the weather shield and loosen, but do not remove, the front door lower hinge nut.

NOTE:  Driver side shown, passenger side similar.
