Front Door Hinge: Adjustments
Front Door, In and Out, Up and Down
1. Rotate the instrument panel dimmer switch to the position where the interior lighting is off with the doors open.
2. Remove the door striker.
3. Mark the position of the upper and lower front door hinges to use as a reference point.
4. Loosen, but do not remove, the four upper and lower front door hinge to front door bolts just enough to permit movement of the door.
NOTE: Driver side shown, passenger side similar.
5. Adjust the front door to specification.
6. Tighten the hinge to door bolts.
7. Install and adjust the door striker as necessary.
