Explorer 4WD V8-4.6L VIN W (2002)
5. Remove the A-pillar passenger assist handle.
6. Remove the trim panel.

Carefully pry the moulding loose starting at the top of the "A" pillar.

Remove the trim panel tab from the instrument panel.
7. Remove the side air bag curtain tether from the trim panel (if equipped).
CAUTION: Vehicle may be equipped with a side air bag curtain. Verify side air bag tether location during removal and installation.
8. Remove the trim panel.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
