Removal and Installation
1. Remove the liftgate latch. For additional information, refer to Liftgate Latch See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Trunk
/ Liftgate Latch/Service and Repair/Liftgate Latch.
2. Release the locking tab, rotate the liftgate ajar switch counterclockwise and remove the ajar switch form the liftgate latch.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
