4. Disconnect the 2 passenger air bag module electrical connectors.

5. Remove the 4 passenger air bag module nuts.

To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

6. NOTICE: Do not handle the passenger air bag module by grabbing the edges of the passenger air bag cover. Damage to the air bag

module may occur.

Push up to release the passenger air bag cover clips from the instrument panel and remove the passenger air bag module.

7. NOTE: During passenger air bag module installation, make sure all of the air bag trim cover clips are fully seated into the instrument panel.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
