Expansion Block/Orifice Tube: Service and Repair
With Serviceable Evaporator Core Orifice
SPECIAL TOOL(S)
REMOVAL
1. Prepare the vehicle for evaporator core orifice removal.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Perform the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure to remove the refrigerant.
3
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
2. Detach the speed control servo.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the bolt.
3
Position the speed control servo aside.
3. Position the coolant expansion tank/windshield washer reservoir aside.

Remove the screws and the nuts.
2
Position the coolant expansion tank/windshield washer reservoir aside.
