Explorer Sport 4WD V6-245 4.0L SOHC VIN K SFI (2001)
2. Install the special tools as shown.
3. Tighten the special tool to remove the tube bushing.
Installation
1. NOTE: Axle tube bushing installation is shown. Differential housing bushing installation is a similar procedure.
Install the tube bushing and the special tools as shown.
2. Tighten the special tool to install the tube bushing.

Remove the tools.
3. Install the front axle assembly.
4. Check and, if necessary, fill the axle with lubricant to 9.56 mm (0.38 inch) below the bottom of the axle fill hole.
5. Lower the vehicle.
