Pull out on the quarter trim panel at the C-pillar to release the 3 retaining clips and access the C-pillar side impact sensor.
6. NOTE: Note the position of the sensor and bracket locating tab for installation.
NOTE: Make sure the C-pillar and side impact sensor mating surfaces are clean and free of foreign material.
Remove the 2 bolts from the side impact sensor and bracket assembly.

To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
7. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the side impact sensor.
8. WARNING: Always tighten the fasteners of the restraints control module (RCM) and impact sensor (if equipped) to the specified torque.
Failure to do so may result in incorrect restraint system operation, which increases the risk of personal injury or death in a crash.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
