9. Remove the front door latch actuating rods.

Remove the door lock cylinder actuating rod.

Remove the push button lock actuating rod.

Remove the interior latch remote control actuating rod.
10. If equipped, remove the door lock actuator.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Use the special tool to install the rivet.

If necessary, use Multi-Purpose Grease Spray F5AZ-19G209-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESR-M1C159-A to lubricate the
latches.
