Explorer Sport Trac 4WD V6-4.0L VIN E (2007)
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Use a suitable suction device to drain the brake master cylinder reservoir.
3. Disconnect the brake fluid level warning switch electrical connector.
4. Disconnect the 2 brake tube fittings from the brake master cylinder.

To install, tighten to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
5. Remove the 2 nuts, the brake master cylinder and the square cut seal.

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
6. NOTE: Make sure that the square cut seal is properly installed or incorrect brake pedal feel can occur.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Bleed the brake system.
