4. CAUTION: Inspect the rivet nut and A-pillar sheet metal for damage. Install a new rivet nut if necessary.
NOTE: If not installing a new safety canopy module, remove the A-pillar tether from the pin-type retainers.
Remove the bolt, bracket and pin-type retainers for the tether cord from the A-pillar.
5. Remove the screws.
6. Separate the rear tether anchor from the sheet metal.

Remove the bolts.

Slide the tether anchor up, releasing the hook and separate the tether anchor from the sheet metal.
