tools cause scratches and gouges which make leak paths. Use a plastic scraping tool to remove all traces of the old O-ring.
Clean the mating surfaces with a plastic scraper, if necessary, and metal surface prep.
Follow the directions on the packaging.
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Install a new coolant pump O-ring. Lubricate the O-ring with clean engine coolant.
