Valve Train Components - Exploded View (Part 2)

Material

Removal 

1. Remove the camshaft roller followers.

2. CAUTION: The hydraulic lash adjusters must be installed in their original locations. Record the hydraulic lash adjuster locations.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in engine damage.

Remove the hydraulic lash adjusters.

Installation

1. NOTE: Lubricate the hydraulic lash adjusters with clean engine oil prior to installation.

Install the hydraulic lash adjusters in their original locations.
