F 150 2WD V8-4.6L VIN W (2007)
NOTE: Adjustable pedal assembly shown, fixed pedal assembly similar.
1. If equipped with adjustable pedals, position them to the full forward position.
2. Remove the instrument panel steering column cover.
3. NOTE: The accelerator pedal and the brake pedal must be in the same position before connecting the adjustable accelerator pedal cable.
If equipped, disconnect the adjustable accelerator pedal cable from the accelerator pedal assembly and position it aside.
4. CAUTION: The brake pedal must be connected in an AT-REST position before removing the speed control deactivator switch, or damage to the
switch will occur.
If equipped, disconnect the speed control deactivator switch.
5. Disconnect the stoplamp switch electrical connector.
6. Remove the redundant self-locking clip cover and self-locking clip.
7. Position the stoplamp switch, booster rod and the bushing off the brake pedal.
8. If equipped with adjustable pedals, disconnect the adjustable pedal motor electrical connector at the top of the bracket.
9. Remove the 4 brake booster nuts.

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
10. Remove the 2 upper brake pedal bracket bolts and the brake pedal and bracket assembly.

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
