6. Disconnect the transmission selector lever electrical connector and remove the selector lever from the vehicle.

7. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Disconnect the overdrive cancel button electrical connector.

Cut the tie strap holding the wire harness to the base of the selector lever.

8. Remove the brake shift interlock actuator.

Remove the bulb from the housing

Cut the tie strap from the wire harness.

Remove the 2 screws and remove the brake shift interlock actuator.

Installation 

1. Install the brake shift interlock actuator.

Install the brake shift interlock actuator and install the 2 screws.
