Obtain the following tools:
^
1) 1/4 inch or 6 mm 1/4 drive shallow socket
^
2) one inch (1/4 drive) extension
^
3) flat piece of steel bar stock
^
4) 6 inch X 3-1/2 inch standard C-clamp. The socket and extension must be smaller than 1/2 inch in diameter
^
Put the old IAC gasket back in place.
^
Assemble steel bar stock, socket, extension and C-clamp as shown in Figure 14.
^
Tighten C-clamp to push the socket and extension into remnants of plastic PCV fitting.
^
Continue to tighten C-clamp until socket pushes PCV fitting out of it's bore.
^
Remove the loose PCV fitting from the intake manifold with a wire hook or a small grappling tool.

Apply Loctite sealant (E0AZ-19554-BA) to the new metal PCV fitting supplied in this kit.
