Oil Pick Up/Strainer: Service and Repair
Oil Pump Screen and Pickup Tube
Removal
1. Remove the oil pan.
2. Remove the three (A) bolts and the (B) oil pump screen and pickup tube.
Installation
1. NOTE: Lubricate the new O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
Clean and inspect the mating surfaces and install a new O-ring seal.
2. Install the off pump screen and pickup tube and install the bolts.
3. CAUTION: The off pump must be primed prior to starting the engine.
Install the oil pan.
