Rotate crankshaft using Crankshaft Holding Tool T93P-6303-A. See Figure 54. Fully install holding tool. This will position crankshaft keyway to
about 10:30 position.

Remove Crankshaft Holding Tool.

Compress timing chain tensioner plunger as follows:
CAUTION
Do not compress the ratchet assembly. This will damage the ratchet assembly.
CAUTION
Use protective vocers over jaws of vise to prevent damage to tensioner.

Compress tensioner plunger using edge of vise. See Figure 55.
