Disconnect the clutch master cylinder line from the transmission and position it out of the way (manual transmission only).

13.

Remove the fuel lines from the rear transmission-mounted fuel line retaining clip.

14.

Disconnect the transmission vent hose from the front fuel line retaining bracket (manual transmission only).

15.

Disconnect the transmission range sensor and position it to the side (automatic transmission only).

16.

Disconnect the wiring harness from the front fuel line retaining bracket.

17.

Remove the front fuel line retaining bracket from the transmission bell housing.

18.

Remove the fuel line assembly by positioning the front portion of the lines down and to the left of the transmission, then remove the entire
assembly by feeding it forward over the transmission. See Figure 9.

Installation -  4X4 Models

1.

Install the fuel line assembly feeding it over the top of the transmission rearward, then up into position.

2.

Install the front fuel line retaining bracket to the transmission and tighten the bolts to 59 Nm (44 lb-ft).

3.

Connect the wiring harness to the front fuel line retaining bracket.

Connect the transmission vent hose to the front fuel line retaining bracket (manual transmission only).

5.

Connect the transmission range sensor (automatic transmission only).

6.

Install the fuel lines into the rear transmission-mounted fuel line retaining bracket.

7.

Connect the clutch master cylinder line (manual transmission only).

8.

Install the transfer case shift bracket. Tighten the bolts to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) (manual shift transfer case only).

9.

Install the transfer case shift lever. Tighten the bolt to 28 Nm (20 lb-ft) (manual shift transfer case only).

10.

Install the transmission shift cable bracket. Tighten the retainers to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). Then, connect the transmission shift cable (automatic
transmission only).

11.

Install the front driveshaft. Tighten the retaining bolts to 104 Nm (76 lb-ft) (automatic transmission only).

12.

Install the front driveshaft shield. Tighten the bolts to 18 Nm (13 lb-ft) (automatic transmission only).

13.

Connect the left catalyst monitor sensor.
