Disconnect shift cable from the transmission manual control lever. Refer to Figure 2.
7.
Disconnect shift cable from transmission cable bracket. See Figure 2.
8.
Remove transmission shift cable from vehicle.
9.
Install new transmission shift cable into vehicle.
10.
Connect shift cable to transmission cable bracket. Do not connect shift cable to manual control lever at this time.
11.
Route shift cable through bulkhead. Fully seat shift cable bulkhead grommet.
12.
Lower vehicle.
13.
Connect shift cable to steering column shift tube lever and steering column bracket.
14.
Install shift cable pushpin on bulkhead stud.
