11. Lubricate the differential clutch packs.

Use Ford Friction Modifier F3TZ-19B546-MA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSP-M2C196-A.
12. Install the differential gears.
(1) Install the differential side gears with clutch packs.
(2) Install the pinion gears with thrust washers.
CAUTION: All friction plates must be soaked in Ford Friction Modifier F3TZ-19B546-MA, Ford specification WSP-M2C196-A, for a
minimum of 15 minutes prior to assembling the clutch packs.
