5. Detach the battery cable harness from the radiator shroud.
All vehicles
6. Using the special tools, remove the cooling fan assembly and position it in the fan shroud.

To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
7. Remove the bolts and the fan shroud and fan.

To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
8. If necessary, remove the bolts and separate the fan and the fan clutch.
^
To install, tighten to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
