All vehicles
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Drain the engine oil.
3. If equipped, remove the 4 skid plate bolts and the skid plate.
4. Remove the bolts and the crossmember.
4WD vehicles
5. Position a suitable hydraulic Jack under the front axle. Securely strap the Jack to the axle.
