RAPID SHOULDER (TOE) WEAR ON INSIDE EDGE OF FRONT TIRES

This article supersedes TSB 05-9-19 to update the vehicle model years and Service Procedure.

ISSUE
Some 2004-2006 F-150 vehicles (excluding Heritage) built before 11/1/2005, equipped with the following tires, may exhibit rapid tire shoulder (toe)
wear on the inside edge of the front tires:

Hankook P235/70 R17 XL 108S, All Season, Black Sidewall

^

Hankook P235/75 R17 108S, All Terrain, Black Sidewall

^

General P255/70 R17 lbs, All Terrain, Outline White Letter (OWL)

^

Continental P255/65 R17 108S, All Season, OWL

ACTION
It may be necessary to adjust alignment and rotate and/or replace tires. Refer to the following Service Procedure.
