2. Push the rubber grommet and transmission shift cable through the floor panel.

3. Connect the transmission shift cable to the transmission selector bracket.

4. Connect the transmission shift cable to the transmission selector lever arm.
5. Place the transmission range selector lever in the 1st position toward the rear of the vehicle.

6. Move the transmission range selector forward 2 detents. This should be the (D) position.
