F 150 2WD Pickup V8-5.4L Prop SOHC VIN Z (1998)
3. Position the camshaft bearing cap and install the camshaft bearing cap bolts in the sequence indicated.
4. Carefully remove the bolts and camshaft bearing cap.
5. Use Plastigage to verify the camshaft journal clearance.

If it is out of specification, replace as necessary.
