Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair
Key Release Lever (Manual Transmission Only)

REMOVAL

1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder.

2. If equipped, remove the tilt wheel handle and shank.

NOTE:  Steering wheel removed for clarity.

3. Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds.

(1) Remove the three screws.
(2) Remove the lower steering column shroud.
(3) Remove the upper steering column shroud.

NOTE:  Steering wheel removed for clarity.

4. Remove the key release lever.

Remove the (A) key release lever bolt.

-

Remove the (B) release handle and remove the (C) spring.
