F 150 2WD Pickup V8-5.4L SOHC VIN 3 (1999)
4. Push the shaft seal onto the A/C compressor shaft with the Shaft Seal Installer until seated.
5. Install the shaft seal snap ring.
6. Perform the A/C compressor external leak test. See: Testing and Inspection
7. Install the shaft seal felt.
8. Install the A/C clutch.
